After she and her sons began to experience food related health concerns, she and her husband opened Wild Poppy Bistro, a gluten- and peanut-free facility. After opening the Bistro and seeing the great demand for allergen-friendly foods she attended the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, where she received her Holistic Nutrition Certification in 2018.
