Q: Are you a 100% gluten-free facility?

We have a dedicated gluten free baking facility where we produce and package all gluten free items presented in the market. We also supply Old Town Ice Cream with gluten free baked goods that are prepackaged to avoid any cross contamination.

Q: Is Wild Poppy owned by the same people as Old Town Bakery and old town ice cream?

Yes, chef Kate Cram and family opened Old Town Bakery in 2003 and later opened Wild Poppy in 2013. They also opened Old Town Ice Cream in 2021.

Q: Do you have an eat-in dining room?

We offer a cafeteria style seating space (no table service) in our neighbouring suite Old Town Ice Cream.

Q: How come you are no longer serving breakfast and lunch a la carte meals?

In recent months COVID-19 presented itself with a host of challenges. As social distancing restrictions limited our function as a sit-down restaurant, we decided to reformat our bistro in a market concept. The market can still provide thoughtfully sourced and prepared meals and baked goods, while highlighting local producers, in a safe environment for both customers and employees.
